In 2013, we remembered the publication of the "Heidelberg Catechism" and the influence of Reformed theologians in England, including Heinrich Bullinger's Decades. For 2014: Tyndale's NT translation. The place of Christianity in Australia is probably as precarious as it's ever been.

Into this environment comes the new Anglican Archbishop of Sydney, Glenn Davies. He takes over from his outspoken predecessor, Peter Jensen, whose tenure lasted 12 years.

In this discursive interview, Archbishop Davies lays out his plan for the diocese, comments on the controversial issue of lay presidency in the Anglican Church, and reveals his position on women in the church.
