Reformed Churchmen

We are Confessional Calvinists and a Prayer Book Church-people. In 2012, we remembered the 350th anniversary of the 1662 Book of Common Prayer; also, we remembered the 450th anniversary of John Jewel's sober, scholarly, and Reformed "An Apology of the Church of England." In 2013, we remembered the publication of the "Heidelberg Catechism" and the influence of Reformed theologians in England, including Heinrich Bullinger's Decades. For 2014: Tyndale's NT translation. For 2015, John Roger, Rowland Taylor and Bishop John Hooper's martyrdom, burned at the stakes. Books of the month. Divorced Benny Hinn to Remarry Ex-Wife Suzanne

We originally covered Hinn's divorce and contractual dispute briefly at:  http://reformationanglicanism.blogspot.com/2011/05/update-on-benny-hinn-divorce-from.html.  Suzanne Hinn filed for divorce on 2/1/2010.  The divorce was finalized in early 2011.  Now, Benny and Suzanne are remarrying.

Benny Hinn, Ex-Wife Announce Plans to Remarry

After reconciling late last year, evangelist Benny Hinn and his ex-wife Suzanne are now planning to getting remarried.

The couple made their announcement on "The 700 Club" Monday that they will tie the knot for a second time this fall. They divorced in 2010 after 30 years of marriage.

Earlier this month, Hinn admitted he often put his work before his wife, and that partially led to their separation.
"Benny has always said he was [committed] to the ministry, and I had no problem with that. Then he started to say that he was married to the ministry," Suzanne told hsot Pat Robertson during the broadcast.
"And I knew how to sacrifice him and give him up to the Lord, I had no problem with that," she continued. "But it became more and more obvious when it became birthdays or anniversaries and I thought, 'Finally he's mine,' and there would be an emergency or something would come up and he'd be gone."
Suzanne was also battling her own problems at the time, including an addiction to prescription drugs.
"My fault and mistake is that I became so involved in the ministry that I really was not paying attention to Suzanne and the struggles she was going through emotionally," Hinn said.
He added that he was initially unaware of his wife's prescription drug abuse. She was eventually treated at the Betty Ford Clinic while their divorce was underway.
Hinn said she's been set free of the addiction.
Suzanne is expected to join Hinn on the road as he continues to travel the world with his ministry. He also recently told supporters he expected her to be by his side "for the rest of my life."
