Reformed Churchmen

We are Confessional Calvinists and a Prayer Book Church-people. In 2012, we remembered the 350th anniversary of the 1662 Book of Common Prayer; also, we remembered the 450th anniversary of John Jewel's sober, scholarly, and Reformed "An Apology of the Church of England." In 2013, we remembered the publication of the "Heidelberg Catechism" and the influence of Reformed theologians in England, including Heinrich Bullinger's Decades. For 2014: Tyndale's NT translation. For 2015, John Roger, Rowland Taylor and Bishop John Hooper's martyrdom, burned at the stakes. Books of the month. Museum of Loons: Benny Hinn

Museum of Loons:  Benny Hinn
We bring another permanent member to your view from our “Museum of Loons.”  One needs to keep a sharp lookout.  Confessional Churchmen need to vet these hucksters.
A few observations are made on Benny’s letter entitled “Break Free From the Generational Pull of Poverty” as per below.  First, Benny needs money.  Don’t we all?  Second, for those understanding Benny’s theology of “Sow a Seed” (that is, send Benny the $$s and you will assuredly reap a financial harvest), why does not Benny simple “sow more seeds himself” so he does not need this letter soliciting donations?  In other words, Benny, practice what you preach. Third, old Benny may be experiencing some financial issues.  This is delightful news, that is, that he is having financial issues. Aside from these three observations offered by Reformation Anglicanism, do you have others?
With your help, that is, understanding, knowing and then advertising his loondom, you are assisting—rightfully—in educating the public about fraud, falsity in advertising, false teachings, hucksterism and, in general, being one large embarrassment to Christian Churchmen.  We need to police-up, litigate, and convict "before reasonable persons" these "ministers" claiming the title "Christian."  Confessional Churchmen need to exercise discipline of Benny by reading, writing, preaching, and advertising in print, audio, TV and internet media, to wit:  “Benny Hinn is a liar, a huckster, a deceiver and a huge embarrassment to the Triune God.”   In short, spread the word.  Or, help to "reduce" Benny's income by educating people to "not" send a nickel to this loon.
You might also want to follow us on Facebook.  The name of the group is "Reformation Christians Against False Prophets and False Teachers at TBN. " We follow all-things-TBN. We have some very able commentators with long resumes and experiences with Benny Hinn and the Trinity Broadcasting Network.  https://www.facebook.com/groups/149264058423513/.

Also, we covered Benny Hinn in another article.  http://reformationanglicanism.blogspot.com/2012/03/loon-factor-360-minute-expose-of-benny.html.  For those desiring a fuller background, we highly recommend a $15 purchase at:  http://store.nicenecouncil.com/many-faces-of-benny-hinn-dvd/
Disclaimer:  we have no stocks or vested interests in the sales from www.nicenecouncil.com.   In fact, we are financially independent and seek no augmentation to the income.  Truth is sought, not dollars (unlike Hinn).  Rather, "The Many Faces of Benny Hinn" is put forward in this 360-minute CD (if you can stand six hours of Hinn).  For students of the "Loons in the Museum," this CD gives a picture of it.  We bought it and recommend it.

Break Free from the Gravitational Pull of Poverty

While I rejoice over the victories we have seen over the past few weeks, I am also facing the difficult decision of whether or not I should consider canceling at least part of our planned Miracle Crusades in the next few weeks. It is an alarming challenge!

We stand at an amazing crossroads! There is such an overwhelming need for the preaching of the Gospel, and it is remarkable that we are seeing the beginning signs of the coming supernatural outpouring upon God's people who are helping to proclaim salvation and healing.

But in the middle of that crossroads of opportunity and the coming anointing for prosperity, this ministry hangs in the balance—literally in uncharted territory—though God continues to call us to the “fields; for they are white already to harvest” (John 4:35).

As a result, we find that we must make critical and moment-to-moment decisions, based on a fluctuating economy.

Strategic Planning Now for the Future

Currently, we have Miracle Crusades planned in the United States in Atlanta, California, Missouri, New York, and Pennsylvania. And we are already busy at work around the world preparing for Miracle Crusades and Services in Australia, Canada, Dubai, France, Gabon, India, Indonesia, New Zealand, the Philippines, Russia, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, the United Kingdom, and Ukraine.

Each of these events requires careful planning and payments far in advance of the actual meetings.

These locations were chosen strategically after much prayer and seeking God's guidance. Again and again, I have sensed the urgency of holding these crusades. But as a good steward of your seed-gifts, I must constantly reevaluate our schedule in light of the up-and-down nature of our faith-based income.

There is simply not enough income at this time to do all the crusades we had planned. This healing ministry that has been so effective for many years is struggling to keep the ministry commitments we have made around the world, and the thought of having to say no to the lost souls waiting to hear the glorious Gospel message simply breaks my heart.

My Urgent Request for You

So I'm coming to you today with a heart that is crying out for God to touch your spirit to give sacrificially as you seek to change your own circumstances. I know the anointing for prosperity is coming to His people in an unprecedented outpouring, but I also know that our crusades are dependent on the obedience and timely giving of His people.

Therefore, I must make these important and time-sensitive decisions about our crusades within several days. Our time is running out. The opportunity is now! I need your help more than ever in two major ways:

1.     Stand by me with your gifts. We need to receive a supernatural recovery of the losses we've endured in order for us to see outreaches restored. We must go with speed to get the job done now.

2.     Share this message with your friends. Pass this letter on to those who have a passion for the lost or to partners who left our ministry for a variety of reasons. I want to make sure they are part of all that God has in store for this ministry and for those who plant seed in its secure, fertile soil!

As you obey Him today, I know that I know that I know that it will be the greatest seed you will sow and that it will bring the greatest season of harvest and blessing you have experienced!

The Need Is Now!

I eagerly await your reply today. I must make critical decisions within three days from the time you receive this urgent email, and your help and encouragement will mean more than you can ever know, not just for this ministry, but for the lost souls who are crying out for the preaching of the Gospel.

I cannot say yes to them unless you say yes with your giving! Prayerfully consider what you can do today.

Know that I love you so very much!

Be part of this great outpouring—both of souls and the anointing for prosperity—for we know that it is “not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts” (Zechariah 4:6).

Preaching the glorious Gospel of Jesus Christ,
teaching the unchanging Word of God, and
expecting the mighty and miraculous
power of the Holy Spirit,

Benny Hinn
